Desktop Snake
A downloadable game for Windows
THIS GAME IS STILL EXPERIMENTAL
Desktop Snake is a game that is inspired by a video by Codebullet titled: Snake But Eating Deletes A Random System 32 File. Instead of using your mouse and deleting files, it adds the files to it's body and restores the desktop to it's original state when closed properly. It has a windows 98 style settings menu, and displays the sprites over the desktop icons it eats. It spawns food files when the all current desktop icons are part of the snake.
This game moves your desktop files around! If you are not okay with that DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND USE this project. On a normal startup and shutdown the game is able to return your desktop back to its original state. Your desktop will still be restored if you close the game like a normal program. Controls are arrow keys or WASD. Holding space for a few seconds opens the settings menu, or you can click the little snake body thing before the snake starts moving. To force it to immediately stop and preform a regular closing sequence press Shift+Enter. Alt+F4 doesn't usually work, press Shift+Backspace instead. Terminating the game with task manager will not restore the desktop.
Suggestions for future versions and bug reports are encouraged!
